Escape Room: Can you escape in time?

Are you looking for some thrill and some mind-blowing bonding experience out of the norm? The Lost SG (Escape room Singapore) is bringing you different themes of escape rooms where allow teams to role play and it immerse themselves into the plot. If you dream to be Sherlock Holmes, this is the best chance for you!

Managed to dig out one of the first few corporate event that I went, was their Escape Room!! It was so thrilling that we were all locked with the jail locks and the "leader" had to untie us through cracking the code that is on the lock. Recently, Lost SG came up with more themes for their escape rooms. Some of the best recommended escape room that you might be interested in:
Aokigahara - Sucide Forest
The story is based on real true events happening at Japan, Aokigahara forest. Yearly, there are suicides that happened inside the forest. Ever since, it is linked with demon and supernatural beings, will you survive this game? Game duration: 60 minutes. I personally love this because I'm so interested to find out how they are going to decorate the room that resembles the forest in Japan. I can't help thinking If I need to take down the corpse from the trees and examine? Only truth will reveal when you try it out yourself.
Mausoleum - Chinese Emperor Tomb
This is one exciting theme that I am looking forward! Built to protect the emperor in the afterlife, the Terracotta army are clay figures of Emperor's Qin army in the underground mausoleum. The scenario goes like this: you and your friends intend to visit the world heritage site one day, and you wandered into the restricted area and unfortunately, lose your way. With absolute no communication, will you able to survive? As you witnessed different trap doors, you soon see the reflective liquid filling up the room..
All the games were approximately 60 minutes that test your resilience, strength and also your mind. At some point of time I felt I was really in the story, and was so intrigued by the setup and the plot. Hence, I highly recommend you to try it with your family or friends!

Sokcho Sunrise Festival, Yearly Tradition for Koreans to watch the first Sunrise.

The most beautiful thing in life, is free. Witnessing such a beautiful sunrise in a extremely cold weather was worth it. It wasn't in the itinerary at first but my friend and I decided to slot this in, Sokcho beach. This place is famous for watching the first sunrise every year in Korea, on the 1st of January. It is also a time when all the families will gather together and countdown, and for my friend he'll usually spend his time with his mom at the church till 3am. The reason why it is so special was because that night was a unforgettable night that I will never forget.
Before that we hiked up the Seoraksan mountain and drove different places in Pyeongchang itself. It was crazy because we decided to sleep in the car and park at the carpark area with the other korean families, couple just for this glorious sight. I was feeling unwell from the ski because I fell too many times on the snow and had caught a small flu. The ice actually went into my legs and also body.

When we reaching there, there was a massive traffic jam as everyone is rushing to get a good spot for the beautiful view. The concert area were near the main beach area where there is restaurants, cafes that sell hot coffee and a public toilet. We were packed with many heat packs and thank god, I had one in my tummy and bought a super comfortable head wear to sleep. It was really fun as there are so many countdown activities like trying out hanbok, drinking fish cake soup in the winter and singing songs. We went to convenient store several times because we were so famished and it was so terribly cold. I remember it was -7 degree and we had to endure the night. From 8pm to 12pm was okay, was just basically chit-chatting in the car, talking and sending text messages wishing happy new year. So at 11.20pm we got off the car and went to the concert area where they all countdown for the new year and had so many fireworks. I was so tired, and was feeling abit giddish.
At 1am, we all went back to our car and we decided to sleep in the car seat. It was so uncomfortable and we decided to off the heaters because chances are we might die in the car due to over consumption of exhaustive fuel from the car. The car is in stationary mode with the motor running and I heard many stories about carbon-monoxide poisoning. So we off the heater and the cold sip in. I couldn't sleep and soon I caught a small fever in the middle of the night. I didn't wake my friend up cause he had to drive us back (at least 2 hour) to where we came from and take a bus back. He needed all the concentration he could get, and it was selfish for me to do so. I forced myself to sleep for many times and had to queue in the cold weather for the public toilet. Thank god time flew by, and it was 5am but we couldn't see anything apart from seeing so many people's heads.
So we drove to another side of the beach and hell, it was the best decision in my life. The sun is so beautiful and the waves are crashing on the rocks. I was not so sick anymore after witnessing this sight. All the tough wait and misery ended. It was something that I will never forget and, it was in Korea. The below picture was at the original spot where there is just too many people and we decided to shift to somewhere else. Everyone was just crowding and there's no way I can be in front to take the pictures!

Just look at this beautiful baby.
A heart shape for you!

We didn't stay there for long because we had to drove back and settle our lunch. My lunch was a simple snow crab cup noodles famous from Sokcho (which my friend overheard from a ajumma) that this is so delicious and good! I finished it all with my sausage and packed some stuffs to be in the car while we drove back. Because it's new year, everyone is driving back to their hometown and we had such a bad traffic jam. So in the end, my friend missed his important gathering with his family and had to keep himself awake from drinking so many red bull drink!
I guess korea will always have a special place in my heart because of the place, the people and the food. The reason why i enjoy travelling so much is because I get to enjoy so much happiness that I will never get to enjoy in my life. I highly suggest you to come Sokcho if you intent to make your year wonderful. It's so worth it and even as I'm typing this, I am filled with immerse gratitude. I feel like going back again in December again haha.
Leaving footprints everywhere, and thank you Korea.

Spring in Korea, A memorable 2D1N

I am always in love with Korea. The people, the beautiful flowers when in bloom during spring season. I imagined myself walking down the streets filled with cherry blossoms, with my love one and talking about the future.  Every year, it will be crowded with so many people, and imagine wearing a hambok I am pretty sure that everyone will gazed at how pretty you are. Let me tell you the reasons why you should #visitKorea and make it your bucket list this year!
1. Wearing Hambok and visit cherry blossom places in Korea

In spring, there are so many places to view the sightings of cherry blossom! No matter where you are, where you stand, you are able to see it. In Japan, we called it sakura, but in Korea do you know we call it? we call it beot-kkot (벗꽃). Cherry blossom also have a very lovely scent which many perfume is trying to replicate the spray or lotion. Enjoy a tasty snack as you walk there! If you want to avoid busiest period of watching the cherry blossom, you could travel to Seoul forest, and prepare a romantic picnic for two!

Going on a crazy palace tour with the cherry blossom as your backdrop! You can easily rent a hambok for fee of 22,000 won for premium ones and cheaper ones at the fee of 12,000 won. Personally i think going with pink hambok will suit the spring season very well. You can even request for hairdo and makeup for a small fee of 5,000 won and handbag. It goes very well I assure you. A great trick: If you rent a hanbok, you can enter Gyeongbokgung for free. Now you will thank me for saving admission ticket to visit the places.
2. Purchase those limited edition starbucks tumblr only from Korea!
Fancy jealous of your friends who managed to get limited edition cherry blossom themed tumblrs and mugs? You can do it too! Most of the tumblr are in pastel tone of soft colours that captures the fresh spring feeling. You can get it at any of the Starbucks coffee outlet, across the streets of Myeongdong, Gangnam station. Get it fast before it runs out! They are literally a big hit among the koreans.
3. Learning about their KPOP pop culture, their food and immerse in beautiful mural villages
Took this when I am at the Ihwa mural village! This little village have many installation of more than 70 kind of different arts and I love this spread wing angel concept. While we are there, we came across many cafes, cute fat cats lying around. Do you know there is a park where you can see the entire Seoul city skyscrapper? You get to enjoy the breeze and take lots of pretty pictures.

Naksan Park gets its name from its camel hump-like appearance. In Korean 'nakta' means camel and 'san' means mountain. So people refer to the park as Nakta Park or Naksan Park. The mountain is a solid granite bedrock. The Joseon royal family enjoyed the natural beauty of the granite mountain.
Kimchi musuem and making class!
Right there, we managed to wore hambok for free! We went to Musuem Kimchikan and have a try on mixing kimchi and also trying different taste of kimchi. Some places kimchi are more sourish, and some place's kimchi are more sweet! Personally I love sweet kimchi, of the raw cabbage.  Exhibit focus on food history, its many historical and regional varieties and it's importance to Korea's culture and cusine.

3. Travelling around is convenient!
The transportation around Seoul is fairy easy to understand there are mobile apps on itune/android around to help you! I love crossing the Han River when I am in Seoul and be sure to look out of the window when passing. Most of the subways are connected underground and some even lead to each subway line. This make it extremely easy to spot a subway station and back to where you come from.
Just purchase your T-money card and you can use it anywhere, be it in Seoul or even Busan. Topping up the T-money is easy, as they are so many machines around! Not to mention to grab your cute line T-card for the same amount you'll pay for a normal card! I'll totally purchase a lot of them next time when I am at Incheon Airport!
4. Food and more sides in Korea!!!
I can't emphasize how much I love korea food! From the sides, to the main dishes. I can have at least 10 sides all to myself?! Extremely in love with Kimchi, the fishcake in slices and corn salad side.
The udon noodles with large portion of meat and flavourful soup!!

Life Quotes

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.

Life Quote

Travel makes one modest, you see what a tiny place you occupy in the world. When we get out of the glass bottle of our ego and when we escape like the squirrels in the cage of our personality and get into the forest again, we shall shiver with cold and fright. But things will happen to us so that we don't know ourselves. Cool, unlying life will rush in.
