Over the weekends, I had the privilege to be invited by Smitten Team for their community meet up at The Mind Cafe. It was great day knowing so many influencers and hearing so many exciting upcoming updates! The cafe is rather accessible, as it is a walk away from the nearest station, Bras Basah mrt station. Basically mind cafe provides a wide collection of board games for you and your friends to chill and while playing, you get to order some tidbits, drinks and bite-size snacks like nuggets, and potato wedges to go with your game. This is the best way to Lepak with your friends right?
Honestly, I am totally amazed and spoilt with choices of games that the cafe provides!! Not only games, they do have different props like what I'm wearing :P ,as well as prison lock chains to put on your friend's neck while you "punish" your friend HAHA. They do also host several events for team bonding catering to both corporate and private parties. Who knows, you could even have your memorable 21st party in this cafe, where the friendly facilitators will be in charge of planning, executing of several games to play with your friendly and friends.
I think they have over 500 games?? Saw some of the super interesting games which I have never tried before!! Can't imagine the screams and excitement if I ever played with my noisy sampang friends LOL
So for the community meetup, we had several card game that associate with durian. Who will ever think you can play something with durians right?! So YEP we did and some of us even wore chef hats.
Afterwards, we were served with sumptuous food! The creamy tomato pasta sauce goes well with the vegetarian spaghetti and I was tempted to get another plate. I resisted ok!
The chicken drumlets were yummy! I like the little spiciness of the drumlets and the addictive potato wedges. I can picture myself munching while playing the game already haha. Anyway the prices of the food menu are extremely affordable and you can share with your friends.
Some of the games like faces board game, monopoly scooby doo and fact or crap?
For faces game, you have to assemble the game board and line-up board. Sort the faces deck into male, female and animal deck and all the players will need to pick one of the male faces that best matches the impression card that was turned over. Whoever matches will get to move their pawn forward one space. Wah i think fact or crap will be damn fun?? A easy game to decide whether is a fact, or just a load of crap. Then whenever you win, you get to receive the token from the middle! But the winner have to know whether is fact or crap. Quite a cute game and interesting!
I guess the most interesting would be Telepaths? (the red colour board game)!?!?!
