If you would say what is the best oversea vacation, i would say this kind of relaxing, free and easy resort stay is the best. This trip was a impromptu decision between both of us, as we felt that we shouldn't go with the traditional mindset of dating and just, let live, laugh and enjoy. Booked our gateway from Groupon and it all starts from there. It was a fabulous 2day1night thought it would be better if we are given more days to play there. Nevertheless, I am contented enough because nothing beats having a staycation with your love one.

So the first day was pretty easy, reached Bintan and was sent to message first. Message was not really great as she was rather tough with cracking my knuckles and finger bones. It really hurts...... to think of it. Both our neck got twisted and I had a terrible phobia now whenever people wants to touch my neck area with both hands.

So in this area nearby there's this spa resort with all the facilities such as outdoor spa. However, it's SUPER DIRTY. The water is rather cloudy and filled with beach sand. Was contemplating to enter the pool but decided not to after looking at the water. HAHAHA


Being really sociable us, we went to say hello to the kids who waved happily at us. The moment is indescribable because they are just so innocent playing around the fields while their grandparents worked. Mom washing the clothes and the whole family just gathered together and play!!!

They are rather shy when we approached them but then slowly they started to open out after we left their home. Definitely a great experience interacting with the villages and looking at kids being contented with what they have.

Found this casual restaurant beside the kellong (those hubs that fisherman build for their family) and i think the place is wayyyyyy too romantic!!!!!!! Ate salted egg crab with never-ending big plate kang kong with our rice. Ate there till 7plus and my horror began.


HAD TO WALK BACK TO THE RESORT OURSELVES IN DARKNESS.

Honestly, the place back then was so dark that i was holding so tightly to dear's hands all the time. It was really scary because you wouldn't know when somebody will just grab you from behind and kidnap you away.

Day 2 woke up and went to rent our motobikes again. This time we went to kelong itself to explore! It was really a great experience because the tides are low and you can literally see fishes swimming around. The tides are so low that you probably can walk till the half of the beach itself. (No joke)

Was looking around the sand and something caught my eye.


IT WAS A CAT. Ok kidding, obviously not. But the kittens there are really tiny and light....


It was the seashells. The seashells there too gorgeous. Was feeling tempted to go down the water just to claim the shells but my boyfriend volunteered!! #bestboyfriendaward. It was a reluctant affair as i was so worried that the tides might come like tsunami.. you never know cause it's really scary to see them in movies.

But nevertheless, i was so happy when he got not 1, but 7 of them!!!!

We went back to the hotel, get changed to rent our bikes again to the small island in the picture below. Can you see it? it was amazing because i never thought i could walk there all by ourselves!!! The tides that day really shallow and the water barely reach my legs, only feet.

Took off our slippers and started walking. It was then I realize we shouldnt because there are sharp edges/pricks that might hurt our legs.


By then the sun already scotched my face and..... i was sunburned. :( Decided to take some pictures by the beach since it's so pretty but something misfortune happened. Dear slipped while attempt to catch me when i fall. Felt really guilty cause he had to stitch his leg and had to walked back bare foot with the deep cut.

Everyone is so worried except for that hero who thinks that he's fine >:(

This Valentine is really one of the best I have ever celebrated, spending actual day at boyfriend's house with his family (watching how Averett and Koen grow...) and having his very talented aunt playing music for us! It's such simplicity and happiness in life that i look for, and nothing brings much joy that watching how the family bond together. :)

So dear bought me a really really huge teddy bear for Valentine's day cause that's his replacement while he is away for Taiwan. Although it may seems like 1 month thing, but I am starting to get really worried and sad that i might miss him so so much. Nevertheless, we will pull through this together and emerge stronger as well.

The second day we went to Bugis+ to get my free hair done by Sunsilk! I was treated like a VIP guest cause i didn't have to queue for the hair makeover. The hair was done quickly and I'm super impressed with the style of the hair that have done for me. Walked to beach road and decided to try realy famous Chong qing grilled fish together. It was really really delicious!!!

While waiting for our movie-winter tale to start but unfortunately...... boyfriend fell asleep in the cinema :(

Prior to the day, spent a beautiful day on the beach just pure relaxation and enjoyment. Surprised my dear boyfriend with a tent and he's totally shocked. Bought black pepper chicken, some garlic bread and a good breezer there. It was really chilling at night so we kept switching position to take our rest while the wind breeze kept blowing.

So dear was hiding in the kitchen all the while cutting strawberries and i didn't realise that he actually mastered the skill of strawberry rose petals!!!!!!!!! Really appreciate him for everything that he done for me and, happy valentine's day!

I learn something about love. I learn that love is unconditional and in the process of loving someone, you've grown to become more understanding, more considerate about feelings and most importantly, doing something you never thought of.

In the past i used to think i'm immature, now i think is about meeting the right person at the right time. So thank you to you again, for making me a better person.

Happy chinese new year!!!!!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Apologise for the lack of updates cause was busy preparing for the upcoming events as well as never ending report... for fypj. But i still try to blog as frequently as possible so do be patient alright! This year is definitely the best year yet, went to annual steamboat gathering, boyfriend came over with two abalone and my power pack, had our little singing session in my room and, visit river angbao together!!!!! The place is truly stunning and it's definitely a must to visit there every year.

And i realise boyfriend has his cheeky side after a couple times of dating HAHAHAHAHA. So apparently, we both examined our palms and concluded that i'm stupid LOL. Apparently, the palm with the most lines = think really much.


Went to Jun Yong's house on thursday for steamboat gathering. Gathered all my primary school friends and had so much joy discussing about army life, poly as well as eating. His parents really bought lots of beef, chicken (shabu-shabu style) and every year, we don't have to pay a single cent!!! Felt really bad and bought a box of ferreo rocher for his family but end up, everybody gobble it up :(

On the lunar eve of chinese new year, dad cooked a sumptuous meal for our family for reunion dinner. He bought really lots of ingredient such as fish ball, prawns, crab, scallop and my all time favourite golden mushroom!! Had the best reunion together as a family eating together :)


Next day i accompanied my mom to the temple to get some oranges as well as drawing the fortune lots. Was praying so hard for my studies, my relationship, work and thank god! I got "shang shang qian" it means really good lot. My objectives will be met, i am favored and my relationship will be smooth! *cross fingers tight.

Really blessed to have my army boyfriend accompanying me for good 3 days straight. Can't believe he's going for his Taiwan mission soon and we are making every day count for us. Thank you god for giving such a valuable gift into my life and in this horse year, we'll make all things possible together. :)
