It's the time of the year again!
Merry Christmas to all my readers!
I felt that god really blessed me with many things this Christmas. Thank you for growing, encouragements and random hop over to this blog to see how this lady doing and how she have grown over the past years :')
Funny how people still ask me "Wah you blogger ah?? Will be famous right?"
I don't even know how answer back cause they are really too kind and I probably will still be a small fry cause I'm really not good at this.
Here is a small christmas look I did with the help of some makeup skills learnt. Not very impressive but I thought was a good improvement haha.

Over last weekend, I attended Nuffnang Loving'X Colour Face Christmas together with some bloggers to learn some new makeup tricks and tips for upcoming christmas! This really special workshop was organized by Nuffnang and all of us received a Limited Edition Pandora Box that consisted of a few must-haves from Shu Uemura and Colour Face. The box look so chic and pretty with essentials that no girls will be able to resist it!
Inside the Pandora Box, we are given Shu Uemura's Cream Eye Shadow in Gold (which I love it!!), Shu Uemura's Stretch Xtreme Waterproof Mascara, Colour Face Eye Shadow Crystal Eye Palette and Colour Face Hair Curler.
While waiting with Janice (my new found twinnie!) that we coincidentally came in floral romper together :-) She's really friendly and we chit-chat while waiting for the event to start! For the 3 hour session, we will be taught on how to use the makeup products from the Pandora box and then, there will be the exciting Makeup challenge where we would dolled ourselves up with our makeup skills.
I was really excited cause I hardly put makeup except for some browns and light eye-liner so this will help me HAHAHA I'm really bad at putting on makeup. Was picked as the model for the makeup class :)
Aunty Doris, one of few experienced makeup artists in ColourFace Academy began to touch up my eyebrowns, putting eyeshadow and curled my hair. She only did half on my face hahaha. The another half is for me to makeup for the challenge. I think she really did a brilliant job!!
Then we had short mini-break with light refreshments and photobooth. The Story Box Co had kindly sponsored us with props, photoprints for us bloggers to take photos! It was really fun as we get to choose so many various props from horse head, doughnut, ice cream and cute shoutouts!
Had a funtastic time taking photos with the bloggers!
Me and Janice!!
Espoir Dessert also kindly sponsored us with so chio cupcakes!!! Cant bear to eat them but have to anyway cause I'm really hungry :p Just look at the beautiful cupcakes frost with so cute gingerbread and christmas decoration design below!!
Really had a tough time choosing but decided to choose this cupcake which attracted me the most! And have I mentioned that the cupcake is red velvet??! and there's this soft yet crunchy taste of Oreo cookie. Really yummy.
Then was the Makeover challenge!!
We were given 45minutes to quickly decide on how we going to makeup (be it the colour of the eyes, cheek blush, eye-liner and drawing of eyebrows!) I followed some of the steps mentioned by Aunty Doris and she came over to our table a few times to help us touch up as well. The instructors were extremely friendly and nice to talk with. While the process of putting makeup, we took the opportunity to ask some questions from the makeup guru!
One of the takeaways I had was: You can always paste a scotch tape if you have double eyelids to draw both perfect eyelines.
And thats a damn useful tip?!?! Cause I often smudge my eyeliner while rushing off to party so now I just have to stick them both with scotch tape hahahaha
Then, the challenge begins!!!
To be honest, I was really panicking and decided to choose the gold shimmer with purple eyeshadow with eyeliner in the end hahaha
And tadaaaah!! This is my final look for the challenge after 45minutes!
I am super impressed with my progress :-)
It was finally the time for the judges to make a decision and all of them had a hard time deciding who's the winner. They announced that Janice won the makeup challenge!!! :)
At the end of the session, all of us received a certificate for the makeup preview session we had today. Here are some photos taken with other bloggers.
Thank you instructors for teaching me useful and easy tricks :)

Today, we celebrated one of our most cheerful girl in our clique, Enqi's birthday! Initially we didn't knew what to do and then, I suggested to check out ISNAP, a selfie studio at Bugis.
What they do is that they provide us to take selfies at low cost with costumes, props and backdrops with dslr camera together with the lighting setting. To be honest, I was sold by their promotion because taking photos in studio can be really expensive and frustrating at times. Like sometimes some demanding photographer will ask you to tilt the head to the left, then to the right.
In total we had 5 of us paying for one of their package together with a free 20 minutes trial. Can you believe that each of us only paid $9?! We get to choose best five shots and keep all the unglam and super glam photos. They were also very kind to reserve the premium space with swing provided and gave us time to prepare ourselves with costumes and choose the props we wanted! I feel kinda bad for them because we were rushing so much for the shoots that we just left one pile of costume at one side HAHAHA
Thankfully the staff didn't scold us and gave us time to keep it and even helped us! :-)
There are many costumes ranging from superheros, couple sets and children ones. I think the most regrettable thing would be the limited choice for adults to choose their costumes adults. I think they have more for children!! Like frozen themes, princess dresses and so forth.
Normal outfit with sakura theme background:
With Kimono and cute mickymouse bands!
Wearing nostalgic 1980's on the swing
On the cloud with princess friends of mine!
School uniform with bad ass students
LOL HAHAHAHA I think we are super mean friends!
Dinosaur theme outfit!
And we ended off with a sad face after the entire process.
It's really worth it considering the laughter, the joy having to plan your selfie photoshoot together running around like mad people finding costumes to wear LOL with your friends at such affordable rate. (Anyway I'm not sponsored to do this ok!! Just feel is a great place to chill out and take great pictures as memory sake with your good friends)
They are located right on top of the bah kwa shop beside Bugis Street! This entire thing was meant to be a surprised and I'm glad it went off well. All thanks to my wonderful actor friends.
Went to Golden Mile Complex to eat steamboat and then wenyeh drove all of us to have some dessert- which is twenty gramms delicious charcoal waffle with salted egg sauce, topped with earl grey and thai milk tea ice cream. It's so heavenly!!! I love to eat waffles with ice cream :-)
Can't wait for the weekends and the plans for Internship! It's starting and leggo celine!! :)
