This concludes my 10 days worth of documenting my life in Korea! Bought the ticket while I was having my semester last year and went to the plane alone for this adventure! For Korea, every seasons feel different for me - like summer there's many beautiful bloom of flowers and for winter, is chilling cold but the scenery looks so pretty.
I know that most people usually go to Seoul only and hardly explore places like wanju or even pyeongchang. Busan as a city is quite famous among travellers since its' only 2.5 hours away from Seoul and there's so many beautiful places to visit. For summer i covered Gamcheon culture village, Haedong yonggungsa and for this time I covered Taejongdae, Songdo beach and also Oryukdo skywalk which I didn't manage to cover previously. Also this time i managed to solo travel without having slight understanding of hangul and rely solely on travel blogs to bring me to different locations. Thank god that they are all 100% accurate and I was able to reach the destination safely.
(I have put how to go there easily, so that you can refer!)
The places of visit in the video:
Busan- Taejongdae Park
24 Jeonmang-ro, Dongsam 2(i)-dong, Yeongdo-gu, Busan, South Korea
How to get there: Take bus 101 from Busan Station and alight when you see a cliff like scenery. Remember to drop at the second bus stop. Don't drop once you see it, there's another bus stop after that!
Busan - Seokbulsa Temple
143-79 Mandeokgogae-gil, Mandeok 1(il)-dong, Buk-gu, Busan, South Korea
Mandeok station and I recommend you to cab there. You have to walk inside a folk village and up the slope and you'll get there in no time. I realise its possible to take a transport up the temple or near there. I made a mistake of going to oncheongjang station to take the cable car and had to cross over the mountain.
Busan - Songdo Beach
Songdohaebyeon-ro, Seo-gu, Busan
Take Bus No. 17, 26 or 61 and get off at Songdo Entrance Bus Stop. Take the bus from Jagalchi Station (Busan Subway Line 1), Exit 2. - Turn left at the corner, go straight 50m and cross the street to Chungmudonggyocharo Bus Stop.
Busan - Oryukdo skywalk
137, Oryukdo-ro, Nam-gu, Busan
Directions: Take Subway Line 1 to Busan Station. Come out from Exit 10. Take Bus 27 and get off 25 stops later at Oryukdo SK View Humun (Backgate). Walk about 275 m to Oryukdo Skywalk.
Pyeongchang/Sokcho/Seoul
For Pyeongchang, Sokcho and Seoul we drove there with GPS, so i can't really recommend you there. But rental of car is approximately US70 exclusive insurance. I will be sharing how we go there from Busan if you're interested.
Thanks for reading let me know if you have any questions!
