I haven't been updating for a good at least 2 months? Oh god. I was honestly so busy with school work that I neglected my blog space. I only remembered my blog when I chanced about cheesieland lol. She's a malaysia blogger that blogs passionately about Japan and something strikes me inside. What actually happened to my blog? Where did the burning desire passion go? But yes! I am back to complete all my Korea Travel Series starting with Pyeongchang first.
Taking the picture with my all time favourite Soohang, the white tiger! Can't believe my short stint with Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) ended since Pyeongchang Olympics is happening right now! So how we did we travelled to Pyeongchang? Our route is based on Busan - Pyeongchang. Take a bus to Busan bus Station to Wanju (2.5hours) with bus stopover in between, and from there rented a car for proximately 70,000 won with insurance covered. But you need to have a Korea driving license in order to rent a car!
Seoraksan Mountain
This place is famous for its beautiful ice cap snow mountains and the Buddha statue! Many came to worship it as well as to explore this beautiful mountain. The thing about Korea is that you get to climb at many beautiful places and the scenery during summer, autumn and winer is totally different.
I was blown away by the scene. It feels little like avatar the movie.
Before heading there, we had a little stopover at a shop that sells pretty good champon! Champon is seafood soup with noodles. I love the spiciness and the tender taste of the noodles.
Witnessed snow for the first time while ski-ing! It was so cold when I fell on the snow and caught a cold that day at the Pyeongchang Ski Resort.
Is you buddy again!
The natural landforms of the rocks.
The lake that was frozen! The entire path was filled with a thin surface of ice and it was so freezing cold. But that doesn't deter us from climbing! I wore 2 layers with a scarf. Warm enough on inside but cold on the ears.
Shit I look like some female mafia warrior.
I wouldn't trade anything else for this view :')
In korea, Ediya coffee is really cheap. It's so much cheaper than Starbucks actually and it taste really good!
The snow and the view we get in the car driving. Really a great experience!
Woljeongsa Temple.
It was really dark when we gotten there! Around 6-7pm.
Somehow it gave a eerie yet beautiful view when you visit the snow forest at night.
I wished time will never stop.
It was beautiful while it last. Till then!
