Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Petaling Street, Sunway Lagoon) & Johor Bahru (City Square Mall)

I love all em food in Kuala Lumpur!! Especially when we're spoilt with different choices like Bakuteh (Pork rib soup), my favourite lok lok which I didn't get to eat, plenty of D24 durian stalls around the alley of streets and many Malay eateries. The main reason why I travelled to Kuala Lumpur was mainly to chill and relax, and to visit my mom's cousin kids who're 1 year old and 3 years old respectively! We took a very early flight to board at 6.40am to Kuala Lumpur which cost us around 59 sgd and KL-JB route back was $21! Definitely a steal though. The stay was really comfortable because my cousin was being really nice to fetch us around throughout this short day of 3D2N before we flew back to JB for the second round of shopping and eating.

I felt the overall design of the big poster was so beautiful. This was taken at Petaling Street. I would advise girls to wear properly because I got molested there by a random Indian guy. I hate it how in KL we don't have power much to report the police or to shout molest because people around you will just look at you. So protect yourself well girls!

This is the famous street where they sell many souvenirs meant for tourists. Can't really bargain as well because many of the store owners seem really nasty and hostile to us. So unless you really like the item, don't bother asking! Nevertheless, I highly encourage this place due to the 1960s- 1990's vibes and feel and there are many good cafes around, instagram-able spots as well.
The weather was really hot and this dress... is too long for my height :( But i recently feel in love with long dresses cause it will made me look so tall!
This was taken at Hulo Hotel & Gallery. Honestly, I would totally give 5 star for this hotel for their dirt cheap price and nice boutique hotel. We paid approximately $25 per night, and if you divide by 2, it's 12.50 per person. TOTALLY DAMN WORTH IT.
Gosh the weather..
We wanted to go in this cafe but... we thought of exploring more before entering. And it turns out to be the best decision later!
Random uncle sitting outside birds and pets store. The birds were very cute honestly.
There are many shophouses that bring fond memories if you're living in the olden times' era. Love how they still managed to maintain all the old buildings.
And like this kind of posters?!?!? Like legit old school style!!!!

Stepped into this cafe and fell in love straight. The design and the interior ambience of the cafe really damn awesome. They are rated 4.5-5 stars! We're in luck today! Initially, we wanted to go merchant cafe which is also quite a hipster spot for many youngsters.
They had their water filled in alcohol bottle. I could only remember them being used to wipe your wound. Such an interesting concept!
The interior design.
woah totally in love with this spot here. Totally best for taking pictures.
Salmon with melted cheese, bread together with wedges and salad. Beef Cabornara pasta with passion fruit drink. They were REALLY good and everything cost us around $18 sgd as they were having lunch promotion meal. Best choice ever!!
Every spot is instagramable when you have a chio bu friend.
Sipping tea elegantly... not.
Back to Hulo hotel because this place is so nice to take photos as well!!
Lying on bed doing nothing.
The super pretty lift!! I love the awesome lighting and you can see alot reflection of yourself.
My mum's cousin baby!!!! wah damn cute!!!
I just want a baby already..
Some random streets of Bakuteh that my mom's cousin drove us there. I love straw mushroom soaked with the soup! So rich and delicious. The oyster vegetables and the you tiao taste damn good too. In KL everything = good. Legit.
The interior of Hulo Hotel & Gallery again. I honestly question why they are 3 star hotel when obviously their service and the rooms are like.. 5 stars. No joke.

The beautiful day at KL. Felt accomplished cause we took $0.50 ride from the KL sentral after alighting from the airport shuttle bus. Total damage was $12? Damn worth it cause we initially want to take grab taxi everywhere literally.
 The super sinful Charkwaytiao
The famous chicken where many people queued for it!
Kwanwai's favourite congee shop. Really damn nice. She ate 2 bowl lol
The famous chee chong fun and yam! The old elderly couple have been making this for so many years.
For second day we went to Sunway Lagoon again! I remembered blogging it years ago and people still visit it haha! This tme, there's the nickeleon there where there's daily meet and greet, new attractions for us! Quite fun I must say.

Took many photos with my waterproof camera casing!
And then we went back to change afterwards.
This is the interior of the hotel and below is our room.
Cosy right? Comes with a cute packaging with all the items you require for showering!
Lobby again.
This is the street I was talking about where we went to eat. Unfortunately I don't have a name for this
The couple that have been cooking chee chong fun for so many years!
Wah the legendary congee.
Our hotel is also close to Berjaya time Square where you get to shop for many clothings. Approximately 500m away. There are also shophouses and places for food. We went to the nearest restaurant for breakfast. Chanced upon this delicious yong tao foo/ fish soup noodles for a decent and great meal.
Damage done: $5 filled with fish meat. The broth was super good. Damn worth it.

 more sunway pictures!
spongebob! No idea why I look so fat here.
Carousel!
Splurge our money on chicken rice shop. Had it when I was at genting last time. The entire meal cost around $16 if i'm not wrong. Our flight to Johor Bahru was delayed till 10:20pm. I had a shock of my life when airasia dropped me an email telling me of the delayed timing. We were rushing actually and on the expressway when we got the email. End up our flight departed at 11pm, reached JB at 1am.

Highly recommend use of Grab taxi! I managed to get a very friendly malay uncle who directed us to the correct hotel and even called the staff when we couldn't locate the place. He was really helpful and we were damn afraid of being kidnap LOL like I wore a jacket over my dress and on the GPS the entire day in case he supiciously drove us to somewhere and sell us :(

Address:150-151, Jalan Kenanga 29/6, Bandar Indahpura, 81000 Kulai, Johor, Malaysia
I would recommend this hotel if you came from senrai airport (JB) because the place is really inconvenient! There's a tesco hypermarket nearby and some eateries. If you're coming from the JB-SIN causeway, I wouldn't recommend because it takes a good 20-25 minutes drive there. But well, it's a 5 star hotel and it's cheap! One night around $32 for a 4 star hotel.
The pillow was super comfortable I swear.
Love it.

Have u tried level 6 mee hoon kuay store? It's near the cinema like a hawker-like restaurant. WOW the bomb cause I end up always go there and eat nowadays.

Ohyes, more of the bed!
Yes yes this! I ate so much until my stomach is bulging. HAHAHA

Thanks for reading :)
