Safra Punggol Presents: Demon House 2017

Straddling the line between life and death, Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. It is thought to have originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off roaming ghosts. This day is marked with the beginning of the dark, cold winter, a time of the year which is often associated with human death. It was said that it is a month where they celebrated the ghosts of death that returns to the earth.
Well in Singapore, we do celebrate this tradition yearly as well! I know there is pretty much a lot of happening activities going on this month. Like in Clark Quay, there is the usual dressed up ghost costumes and exotic ghosty vodka for sale, and also there's this ongoing USS halloween night! However, one thing for USS Halloween night is that I often dislike is the long queues (for more than 1 hour if you don't have express passes) which resulted to myself missing out those light, action effect shows and rides. Like whaaat I already paid for it. However, for the Halloween Haunted Night that is happening @ Safra Punggol, there's is no fear.
There's going to be 5 stories building entirely converted for you to get soaked with the spooky Halloween ambience and you WILL be entitled to finish everything based on the previous past success of the event. If you're a daredevil enough, you could even visit punggol beach at night afterwards! Punggol beach has a spooky history. It was said that some 400 Chinese civilians was victims of sook ching purge and they are killed by Japanese on the northeast shore.
I actually tried to imagine the creepiness of Safra Punggol on that day. This year titled would be Demon House. And it is built for one purpose. "Enter with laughter, Leave with fears". We always ask ourselves, being the most expensive built Halloween event does it mean the most horrifying? Simple, NO.
ATTENTION: Before entering, these are the things you should be aware of:
Entering Demon’s House entails known and unanticipated risks that could result in physical or emotional injury. Risks may include, among other things, slipping, falling, and collision with fixed objects and other people.
So you may ask, what will be included?
It will be categorized into 2 scare zones, 2 haunted trail, 3 show and performances and exclusive Halloween haunted stores where you can buy all the merchandise home!
Here is a list of all the scare zones and haunted trials that you will be going through. I love how they actually cater for families and kids. Kids can go around asking, "Tricks or Treat?" and get some snacks or goodies in return. I guess I will be looking forward to the 4D horror movie segment? It will be super creepy to see the ring crawling out of the movie screen lollol. Can feel the chills down my spine already.
Message of Warning:
Living Human below the age of 16 or with any health or heart related problem will not be permitted in the premises. This is strongly not recommended for human who are weak. “Southeast Asia Most Horrific Haunted Night” • Scare actors will get direct contact with guest limited to hands, leg, and shoulder. Guest will go through several level of horrific torture. • Guest will not be allowed to touch any props or the actors at anytime or be expelled from the premises. This will be a 5D experience where guest will get in contact with Water, Special Lightings, Mild Fire, Heat, Smokes. Guest are recommended to protect their electronic devices with zip lock bag. It will be available for purchase onsite.
Please be aware, you will encounter: FOG – STROBE LIGHTS – COMPLETE DARKNESS CRAWLING – STAIRS – LOUD NOISES – WATER PHYSICAL CONTACT – VIOLENT SITUATIONS. It will be super exciting as you navigate through the death gates of hell. This is extremely exciting for people who think no kick huh just by walking through the haunted houses! There are so many creepy elements you can be looking forward to!
The tickets are selling pretty fast, so better get your tickets! They are also selling fast admission and VIP admission which entitles you guided tour and welcome gift. It would be great to come as a group together as bulk purchase is often cheaper. There's this saying, the more the merrier! This way you could grab whoever beside you and call all your kakis to come together and celebrate Halloween.
