HI. Its been so long since i updated properly, but i'll start with my intern then slowly my personal life on what i've been doing. I think i pretty completed 1/6th of my 6 months internship.
I don't know what sparks me to blog about my journey as a Microsoft Intern, but i would really want to express so much gratitude for such a great opportunity to be interning there. I feel that this space is a little mundane so i guess, i'll blog about my internship to share my learning experiences
(i should save this for the last day of intern right? Sigh ok nevermind haha)
I had the opportunity to visit so many startups and was really inspired by their passion in bringing their ideas to alive through the help of technologies. I've seen companies like move correctly, trade hero and i was really impressed. Talk to the founders, talk to their team of excellent members and managed to grasp some tip about starting business in Singapore. As compared to other countries, i think government have been really supportive in giving seed fundings to start up which drives me/motivate me further to be a start up entrepreneur! Was telling Joyce that i would come back as a guest speaker to motivate my future generation but right now, i need a idea. That's not the point but it's like so amazing! I think having internship in Microsoft is something i never dream of, something i never thought of getting, something i'm really proud to be in cause... it's really hard to get in considering with a diploma certification on hand and not degree. But it's okay :)
so the first start up was prototype asia, where they start their own business with absolute no seed funding but themselves! Felt really happy with them because they're really doing so well with their 3D printers and entreprises are looking for solutions using their printers.
Next was Gimme world! where they bring CRM softwares to alive. Was doing some customer relationship management related projects a few months ago and it's really quite bad to work with softwares that are really really complicated. I had difficulties writting report on how the software works and i'm so glad that they are actually making user-friendly softwares. Like those kind you just have to edit some changes and it will all be automated updated. It will be a hit i swear.
Then was pirate3D, where they provide like user printer for users such as art schools like SOTA, lassalle for their work course printing 3D sculpture. Bunch of really really friendly team and their prototype was just amazing. Always struck me how they even manage to get 3D possible with just printers and they managed to do it!
And..... the list continues. There are so many successful start up companies and i'm so inspired. OK NOW FEED ME WITH A IDEA HAHAHA, Just kidding. Stay tune to 2/6 and till the end. :)
