Day 0

Was planning to go for a short gateway before everything settles down in Taiwan for Brian. We were discussing the possibilities of going with tours with groupon (booked it for last bintan trip), short trip to Hong kong to look for his family and etc. We both have very outgoing personality and cool parents thus, they are totally fine with the idea of us travelling together. We did some quick cost breakdown analysis and decided that we should go Kular Lumpur this time, mainly for the food and sunway lagoon! This is what we calculated: (In SGD)

Bus ride:                           SIN- KL  by Qista                $23/person
KL-SIN   by  Korsotium       $19/Person (because it's in ringt)
Hotel Rooms                                    by Grid 9 Hotel     $50/Night
Sunway Lagoon tickets                                                   $38 (RM 98, Normal Price: RM 120)
Allowance                                                                        $250

Day 1
Rushed from our homes to little India to board our bus, Qista. Dear was still caught up with university application while i'm at home resting before the trip. Really praise the lord that we managed to board the bus because we're 10 minutes late! They are really really kind to call us before they left for woodlands checkpoint. Mega big seats to ourselves with massage buttons. Fell asleep after watching a horror movie and there was a mega jam from Malacca to KL.

By then i was so terribly famished + tired from the long coach rides but thank god dear is with me throughout with his jokes and stories. Sometimes I wonder how did i actually found such a cute guy that loves me so much :')

Reached Grid 9 hotel at around 1am in the morning and all the eateries, shops are closed for the day. Luckily for us, there's still a Indian restaurant available for us selling fried mee goreng and rice. And oh! the hotel is fabulous for a budget price of $50.

(Pardon for the messy hotel images cause we took it after we stayed for 2 days haha)

Day 2
Woke up around 9am for our sunway lagoon trip! Feeling super excited and kanchiong for all the thrilling rides so we decided to wake up early to beat the queue at the theme park. Before taking our taxi down, we had our breakfast near our hotel. It was a simple meal, mee tai mak with soup while dear ate dry beehoon with soup. RM5 for both bowls of delicious food!!

Dried beehoon + wanton in the soup.

Dear posting for the camera.

My all time favourite childhood noodles!!!!!! Used to eat it often when I'm sick...

There's this rundown house that we saw earlier while having our breakfast. Decided to explore a little and realised that the dogs are actually resting in the house now. They barked at us furiously while we attempt to take some pictures.

So why did we choose to go Sunway lagoon?

Was randomly googling Malaysia for their outdoor theme parks since i couldn't think anything else besides the closed for renovation and building of the new Genting Theme Park. They gonna build the park based on movie themes, like Night at Musuem and so forth. I recalled mom mentioning something on Sunway lagoon and i think it'll be great for us to go since the park consist of 5 themes- Scream Park, Amusement Park, Wildlife Park, Water Park and Extreme Park.

There's this sunway pyramid aka the vivo city, featuring shops like Chanel, H&M, Gucci and all the branded stores. There's also ice skating rink which is flooded with people trying to ice skate around. If i'm not wrong, the admission ticket is RM 14 per hour. Quite worth it to play considering singapore prices.

Majestic building with two golden horses.

A quick overview is that Scream Park is kinda annoying fun because there are ghosts randomly scare you from the side doors or fake walls. However bad side is that their short horror clips make no sense at all. Totally no sense. It's like I was trying to figure out what are they showing and suddenly there's a real ghost pop out from the fake screen giving us a shock out of my life.... then i'm like -_-

Amusement Park was really great because there is absolutely no queue at all!!! Took 5-10minutes to queue for each ride and there are plenty of rides that doesn't even require to queue. Felt really proud for sitting 360 degree pirate ship, the Inverter (360 degree flip in the mid-air with my belt not tight enough) and the lost world of gold roller coaster. Pretty small place but good enough for the price.

Pirate ship 360degree!!!!!!! Was pleading so hard my dear boyfriend not to go but eventually i went. Felt like dying when the entire thing started.

of course, i couldn't climb up without the help of my strong boyfriend :')

Really nice photo of us.

Went in to WorldWar Z screem horrorwood featuring bratt pitt with the kids running around escaping from infectious zombie. Remember the movie? It was not too bad for a scare.

What I really love about Sunway Lagoon is that they also include Wildlife Park! Suitable for adults and children that love animals because you get to see them live close! Can't believe i'm just 1m away from the black bear and many other animals like black jaguar.

Have i mentioned that birds, parrots are free to roam in the park as well?? Wow! Really amazed how close i get to see them.

Highlight of the wildlife park: Pet Village. Was so freaking happy cause the goats so cute! There's this white goat that refuses to leave us even after we left the place.

Look at how cuddly those goats are!!!!

Haha dear was saying: "hey the black one is me, while the white one is you" So true my dear :)

It's petting time!!!!!!!! Fed my rabbits with vegetables and pet them while they eat them. So freaking cute i can't even breathe. Too many bunnies running around freely too and there are gigantic tortoises below the cages.

nom nom nom nom.

There's guinea pig too! However DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CARRY THEM OR THEY'LL SQUEAK LOUDLY.

Notice my pants are changed to beach wear??? we went to water theme park too!!! It's amazing.

We sat the world's first water 5D ride!!!!!! Waterplex. Honestly it was so so damn good that all of the audiences clapped and rejoice.

It's the stimulation of water ride with water effects spraying as the chair moves. Damn exciting and totally worth it. Love the combination of the effects, water and the colors from the screen and the projectors.

For the Extreme Park, there's the suspension bridge that link to another end of Sunway lagoon. It includes Bungee jumping, flying fox with a fee of RM 60. Overall for the last park, it was mainly pay for a ride kind and we didn't really play all of them. There's paint ball and archery inside the park though! It's free of charge for all.

Feeling so worried that my camera will drop. HAHAHAHA

Heartshape for everyone. Will continue my part 2 post tomorrow. Overall it's really affordable to play at Sunway Lagoon for the price of $38, 5 Amusement parks. Do book your tickets online, especially on busonlineticket.com cause I've saved $22 from buying the tickets at the park. Original price RM 120. Thank you guys for reading, look out for part 2!!!!!!

Still can't believe we almost couldn't make it back to Singapore cause our bus left on the last day and we are left with no cash. Haha. Ciao!
