Travel Blog: Impromptu trip to Sunway Lagoon part 2

Continue.

Feeling really sickish after I came back from Kular Lumpur. Guess I am really not used to the sudden weather change climate where there's abundance of sun and sudden rain in the afternoon. So in the previous post, I mentioned that we brought SGD 250 out for this trip but soon we realise that it won't be sufficient for us because.....
we only pre-booked the hotel but not full amount payment to them.

Felt really anxious because we brought just nice amount there and was expecting to enjoy the rides, the food! With this bad news, we can't afford to have any nice meals, nice activities (was planning to watch movie, play laser tag, ice skating etc) However, dear really wanted us to enjoy this trip so we went ahead and splurge our money on this.

                      SHOUGAN and SAISAKI Japanese Restaurant

Sunway Pyramid Petaling Jaya, Selangor Malaysia
Per person price during weekday: $26 SGD (Singapore would cost 60SGD++)

Wow this place is truly heaven for all buffet lovers who wish to taste every variety of food possible. I was truly amazed by their wide variety of selection of sushi, cakes, fruits, western & chinese food and not forgetting their desserts as well!! They are really kind to let us take photographs of their food and even stand by the side waiting for our orders.

Just look at how appetizing these fruits are!!! So much variety ranging from rock melon, water melon, oranges beautifully displayed waiting for customers to take.

Their soup of the day range from Tom Yum Seafood, seaweed soup, kimchi soup, ox tail soup, mushroom soup, Buddha jump over the wall, miso soup and more. Whatever you name it, you have it. Too crazy to even cook so much soup!!!

Seafood pasta on the left, mushroom broccoli with toufu on the right.

Must try chili crab!!!

Their scallops corner. Mussels with cheese, grilled prawn with garlic, plain oyster, chili clams.

There's this tappanyaki corner with all sorts of vegetables like mushroom, dou miao, beansprouts for you to put toppings with salmon, beef, chicken. The chef was really nice cooking for us and oh my!! It taste damn damn good. The combination of garlic mixed with cooking oil and the right amount of vegetables and meat surely make you drool haha.

The rest selection of the food. Notice that the entire aisle is FOOD.

Sweet lamb with some black sauce (?) which we personally didn't try... too much variety.

Yummy yummy seafood cream pasta!!

There here you go, there are lots of variety you can choose to request the chef to cook for you for teppanyaki!

Took Asam Laska, bit of seafood pasta, some slice of smoked duck, salmon and some variety of sushi. Finished all of them in less than 10 minutes. Heavenly!!!!

Walked to the dim sum corner and ordered SiewMai for my dim sum!! Isn't it amazing that the buffet even include dim sum???? I can't even express my excitement over how cheap the buffet and how good it is!!

After we finished our buffet, we took a cab back to our hotel and rest for the night. Was really intending not to sleep for the night but I guessed I was too exhausted. Forgot to mention that the hotel TV shows are blockbuster movies, drama series from fox! Previous night was showing Walking Dead Season 2 while that night was showing The Wizard and the oz movie. It was tooooo comfy and comfortable for a stay in budget boutique hotel.

Day 3
Checked out at 1pm to Berjaya Times Square for some shopping! Was already feeling very weak and uncomfortable since I haven't been resting well plus the bad weather back at Sunway lagoon. Anyway Grid9 Hotel really have nice facilities like, IPAD, Samsung Tablet to use and there's a desktop to use. Absolutely free wifi to borrow their internet connection.

Small pool table to chill and area to watch movie with all of the bean bags! (Free of charge)

Was about to leave the hotel and was feeling a little sad. Beautiful isn't it!!!!! Brand new hotel.

Having to say goodbye to our hotel and on our way to shopping before departing to Singapore.

Before we left we were approached by a tourist that asked us for some money for him to have his lunch and breakfast till he's able to fly back to his own country. Both of us are feeling really sympathetic for him so we gave him RM20.... hopefully he's not a con man. But I guessed, kindness will definitely go a long way because something happened to us after that HAHA

ok back to the day.... we went to travel to Berjaya Time Square by their MRT.

Had some yum tako balls (RM$7.90) cheese with sweet prawn inside. Feeling real happy cause I'm really famished from everything.

By then was already 4pm plus and we are on our way back home! Dear bought banana crepes with Nutella chocolate but i couldn't eat them cause i was seriously having a pretty bad sorethroat. Resist resist temptation.

yum yum yum

Here comes the exciting part:

By then we on our way to bus terminal to take our coach back to Singapore, we pretty spend all our money left for the departure coach and the hotel. Booked 5.50pm coached back and guess what....

WE MISSED THE BUS BACK AND LEFT WITH NO MORE MONEY!!!!!!!!!
Really quite crazy cause we literally broke and in malaysia, they are unable to proceed with mastercard transaction from dear's card. We literally just stone there thinking what should we do next.
FYI- Was suppose to go back to Microsoft and work next day but couldn't make it anymore.... by the way the bus driver drove the bus in front of dear's eyes while I was in the toilet about to come out.
Damn crazy i swear.
ok lor. Then no choice have to call my mom's cousin in KL for real help. Really thank god that my uncle managed to help us buy a ticket back to Singapore and brought us home for one more night. It was the best best April Fool's day cause I was initially in disbelief when dear told me the truth. FYI again- He always lie for awhile and then laugh it off telling me the truth :(

So i guess..... Day 4

Had a taste of their local delicacies and nice fatty satay! Was unable to take some pictures cause the place too dark lollol

Biggest sugarcane i ever drank.

My claypot mee tai mak!!!!!!! Overall it's really a great experience to travel to KL ourselves and had no money left home haha. Feeling really bad for imposing my mom's cousin so i volunteered to bring them around when they are in Singapore for a short vacation. Feel like dying cause i'm still terribly sick while typing the post but i did it!!! Thanks for reading, appreciate it :)
